Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme, created by The Broke and Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. And this week’s prompt is Places In Books I’d Love to Live – I changed it to Places in Book’s I’d love to visit.
Me going to all the places!
There are a lot of places I’d love to go to and for different reasons. These places range from fantasy, science fiction, and a bit of Lovecraftian horror. This top ten isn’t ranked they’re just places I want to visit.
The Hobbit/LOTR: The Shire

Reading the books and seeing the movies is just…it’s beautiful. If we get to keep the soundtrack as well, that would just be perfect. There’s a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere – green, warm, several meals a day and walking around barefoot. Just magnificent.
Good Omens: Aziraphale’s bookshop
Aziraphale when I call to ask if I can come over — and I am not Crowley
It both contains Aziraphale and books! If you haven’t read this book or seen the show – just do it. Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett is a perfect combo.
The Secret Garden: The Secret Garden

I listened to the audiobook I got for free over iTunes narrated by Karen Gillan. She’s a wonderful narrator and if you can get your hands on this version, please do. Staying in one’s very own secluded garden, with my best friends and animal friends. Is there anything better?
Ready Player One: OASIS

I love RPG’s, and entering into a universe where almost anything is possible, customise however you want and going on adventures is something I’d love to try out!
Harry Potter: Hogwarts
I am trying to separate Rowling from the books that I grew up with and love. I was so sad when I didn’t get my Hogwarts letter back when I turned eleven. Absolutely heartbroken. I can dream.
Bobiverse: Space!
I want to go to space with myself, myself, and myself! And then send myself a long way away from me. The Bobiverse series is just a fun series and doing that kind of travel would be awesome.
Ronia, the Robber’s Daughter: The Mattis forest
This is another story I grew up with. The witches are cool, the creatures are scary, and the Rumpnissar (Buttelves?) are hilarious.

The House in the Cerulean Sea: Marsyas Island

“Don’t you wish you were here?”
The Music of Erich Zann: Eric Zann’s room

Okay, this is where things get a bit…weird. This is one of my favourite stories by H. P. Lovecraft, and I wish I could hear the music described in this story.
The short story can be found here.
Uzumaki: Kurouzu-cho, the town of the story

Things are getting even weirder. I love Ito Junji, his storytelling and his art style. This is a really strange town. Cosmic horror in manga-style filled with spirals – enough to make you dizzy.
This is my contribution to this weeks TTT. Where would you love to go?
