I know I haven’t been too active with my blog. I’ve been in a bit of a slump in general 😅 However, I have a few reviews coming up. Finally been able to read some books!
This week’s theme is Covers That Made Me Want to Read the Book 🥳🎉 I’ve split it up into books I’ve read and books on my TBR 😊
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme, created by The Broke and Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
BOOKS I’VE READ
Tomorrow by Damian Dibben
Note: Historical fiction with a splash of fantasy. That dog on the cover is just so cute!
How to Be a Good Creature: A Memoir in Thirteen Animals by Sy Montgomery
Note: Just a sweet memoir of an animal lover and what her experiences with animals have taught her about life.
We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson
Note: My very first Shirley Jackson read. Both the cover and the title really made me both buy and read it. It’s a good read 🙂
Born a Crime: A Story of a South African Childhood by Trevor Noah
Note: I got the audiobook with the author as the narrator. This is a beautiful and wonderful read. I just love Trevor Noah in general x)
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Seth Grahame-Smith and Jane Austen
Note: Just the title and the zombie on the cover got my interest. Not a read where you have to use your brain too much.
BOOKS ON MY TBR
Rabbits by Terry Miles
Note: Colorful rabbit
The Lost Girls by Sonia Hartl
Note: Cool vampire girl drawn in a nice style
Wicked Little Deeds by Kat Ellis
Note: The title mixed with the choice of colors
In Deep Waters by F. T. Lukens
Note: Soft sweet colors with soft sweet boys perhaps?
Ariadne by Jennifer Saint
Note: The cover is just pretty ðŸ˜

Happy reading 💜
Born a Crime was excellent for sure!
