It’s now time for another Top Ten Five Tuesday. The prompt today is Favorite Places to Read π
I’m the type that enjoy listening to audiobooks since it gives me the opportunity to do other stuff while listening. When I do read it’s mainly ebooks, since they save up more space, and my phone is always with me – not much chance to forget a book some random place!
Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme, created by The Broke and Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
1. While riding public transport
I have quite a long commute to and from work, which gives me a lot of time to enjoy some reading. Here I both read ebooks or listen to audiobooks.

2. While walking
I love going for walks in cooler weather – so definitely during autumn, winter and spring. Summertime is staying-inside time for me!

3. While lying in bed
Just me relaxing in bed – might take a nap or read a book.

4. Sitting on the couch – crocheting
I often love doing something with my hands while listening to an audiobook. One of my favorite activities are crocheting. Mainly something easy like a shawl – something where I don’t need to use my brain too much xD

5. Sitting by the PC and doing digital art
When I first got my new Wacom tablet I needed a lot of practice to figure out how to draw on a surface while looking at a screen. That hand eye-coordination is a bit difficult! Just practicing lines and listening to a book was a great start.

A great list of places! My husband has a tablet for drawing, and his biggest complaint (besides the lack of space on the computer desk) is hand-eye coordination.

I too wish I had more desk space!
The hand-eye coordination definitely needs practice xD

Are you listening to audiobooks while walking, or are you carrying a book in front of you? π

I’m listening to audiobooks while walking. I don’t trust my coordination to both walk and read at the same time! xD

I also really like reading on public transport, and will listen to audiobooks when walking around, and also on my weekly runs. I read in bed a lot too.

I’ve never listened to an audio book! Listening to one while walking sounds great though. Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!

I do a fair amount of cross-stitching, but I watch t.v. while I do it. I should try listening to audiobooks instead! Much more efficient than t.v. watching π
Happy TTT!
