TTT: Books I Hope Santa Brings

Hello, sweeties. It’s time for…..Top Ten Tuesday! Since we’re getting properly into the Holiday spirit, this week’s prompt is Bookish Wishes, or rather, Books I Hope Santa Brings. It’s been a long time since I’ve last believed in Santa, but a girl can hope, right ;P I will not say no to some more books!

By encouragement from That Artsy Reader Girl, I’ll add a link to my Amazon wishlist.

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme, created by The Broke and Bookish and is now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

This is a Top Ten list, but these books will not be in any particular order. Also, I would just like to add, that this might be the most difficult Top Ten list I have ever written…how can I only pick ten books from my wishlist? A little side note, I am linking to the Amazon site instead of Goodreads, mainly because it’s easier to keep track of while also looking through my Bookish Wishlist ;P

Baker’s Dozen
by Candace Nola
Genre: Horror | Short stories
Note: A book with all of the authors from the Written in Red Podcast plus some more? Also, I am loving the cover!

Mrs Death Misses Death
– by Salena Godden
Genre: Fiction | Magical realism | Death
Note: I have a thing for nice titles, and this one is fun. Also, magical realism and death sound really interesting to me.

Root Magic
– by Eden Royce
Genre: Middle grade | Fantasy | Magical realism

Midnight Riot (Rivers of London Book 1)
– by Ben Aaronovitch
Genre: Urban fantasy | Mystery | Magical

Vampirates: Demons of the Ocean
– by Justin Somper
Genre: YA | Adventure | Pirates | Paranormal > Vampires
Note: Vampirates. Vampires, that are pirates? What more can I say?!

The Slob
– by Aron Beauregard
Genre: Horror | Splatterpunk
Note: I wanna read some disgusting horror, and this is high in the recommendations for this genre. I HAVE to read it.

The Glare
– by Margot Harrison
Genre: YA | Science fiction | Mystery | Gaming
Note: A science-fiction mystery centred around gaming.

Last Week Tonight with John Oliver Presents a Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo: Better Bundo Book, LGBT Children’s Book
– by Marlon Bundo, EG Kelley
Genre: Children’s picture book | LGBT | Animals | Humor
Note: I love John Oliver, and I just need some cute bunny picture book.

I Have No Mouth & I Must Scream: Stories
– by Harlan Ellison
Genre: Science fiction | Short stories | Horror
Note: This has been in my TBR for ages, but I’ve never gotten my hands on the book.

A Wizard’s Guide To Defensive Baking
– by T. Kingfisher
Genre: Fantasy | YA | Adventure | Middle Grade
Note: Again, I have a thing for nice titles + I need me some help on my defensive baking, and this seems like a good place to start.

Happy reading ❤
